Litho UV Inks for Plastics Including Credit Cards

1. Uvilam & Uviseal Series

This series of inks have been specifically designed and manufactured for the security credit card market where heat lamination is taking place. They are very highly pigmented, with excellent curing properties and possess superb adhesion characteristics. One of the highest bonding-to-overlay products in the market. Suitable for many types of plastics substrates including PVC and PETG.

2. UV “Surface print ” Inks for Difficult Plastics

Designed for adhesion to difficult plastics substrates used in conjunction with UV varnishes. Under certain conditions these inks can be “press polished” without the need for a top-coat varnish.

3. Plasticure

A “REVELATION” in UV ink. Not only does this ink series show great lithographic print properties on paper and board but is equally at home on plastic substrates. High pigment strength, good ink water balance and excellent curing properties make this ink – the perfect choice.

4. “Waterless”

For a whole new generation of waterless presses including the KBA Genius and Presstek, our UV Waterless has continually performed to high standards particularly on plastic and difficult substrates. The series is available for both heat lamination and surface printing with the absence of “toning” and certain adhesion issues.

5. Zygolam & Quanta – Seal

Developments in raw materials have enabled us to produce TWO new ink series. Various properties incorporate within these inks allow differing results. For example ZYGOLAM can be used for Thermal Personalisation Treatments and QUANTA-SEAL will give a harder, scratch resistant film for better handling prior to heat lamination. Both series can be used for GSM and Banking cards.
